Volume rendering of the denture phantom without jaw spacer and without iterative metal artifact reduction algorithm (a). The use of the jaw spacer allowed a perfect separation of the upper from the lower jaw and hence a better separation of the metal artifacts and better depiction of the artificial teeth (b).
