The yellow bar in the longitudinal view is a cursor control defining the time of the transverse view, with time increasing as the yellow bar moves down. The arrow in the center of the transverse view is a cursor control for defining the angular orientation of the longitudinal view. The diastole and systole positions are identified by the widest and narrowest points within the longitudinal view
