Stent deployment in silico. Serial series of stent deployment inside the internal carotid artery. The deroofed model allows for precise vision of the deployment, a feature which is not appreciable in completely closed translucent models. The stent is placed more distally to account for foreshortening. In real life, it would otherwise extend into the common carotid artery. We refer to the video in appendix to objectivate other features such as recoil and jumping and the end of deployment
