Figure 12A demonstrates an entire 3-D printed external fixator. The fixed block and honeycomb cylinder are white. The main cylinder and extension rod are blue. De-rotations wedges are white and traction wedges are blue. The device is fixed to metal Schanz pins secured in polyurethane dowels to mimic bone. Figure 12B demonstrates how a different deconstructed kit could fit within a standard PLA filament box to facilitate shipping and storage
